13 CUHK Eye Professors Receive Acclaim in Asia-Pacific Eye 100 – Most Influential Ophthalmologists 2022

We are delighted to announce that a total of 13 CUHK Eye Professors, including three Faculty members, Prof Clement CY THAM, Prof Guy LJ CHEN, and Dr Jason CS YAM, and 10 Honorary Professors, have received acclaim at the Asia-Pacific Eye 100 – Most Influential Ophthalmologists 2022.

It is notable that our Department Chairman, Prof Clement CY THAM, Clinical Professor (Honorary), Prof Dennis SC LAM, and Honorary Professor, Prof WANG Ningli, are ranked amongst the ‶Top 10″.  Eye Professors voted amongst the ‶Top 100″ include Prof Guy LJ CHEN, Dr Jason CS YAM, Prof Carmen KM CHAN, Prof Timothy YY LAI, Prof Alvin L YOUNG, Prof Hunter KL YUEN, Prof SUN Xinghuai, Prof ZHANG Mingzhi, Dr Nancy SY YUEN, and Dr Emmy YM LI.

The Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and its official publication, Asia-Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology (APJO), jointly hosted the 1st Asia-Pacific Eye 100 – Most Influential Ophthalmologists 2022 to recognize the achievements and contributions made by the most influential ophthalmologists in the Asia-Pacific region.  The result was released at the APAO 2023 Congress held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
