Dr ‍Chris CC TSANG, the Hospital Chief Executive of the Kowloon Hospital and the Hong Kong Eye Hospital, led his team to visit the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Eye Centre, and the DOVS research centres and laboratories on 29 November 2022.

Prof Calvin CP PANG welcomed Dr Tsang and his colleagues on behalf of the DOVS and our chairman, Prof Clement CY THAM, who was on clinical duties during Dr Tsang′s visit. Prof Pang, other DOVS faculty members (Dr Jason CS YAM, Dr Carol YL CHEUNG, Dr Poemen PM CHAN and Dr CHU Wai Kit), and the Clinic Manager of the CUHK Eye Centre Ms‍ Fanny SF CHAN accompanied Dr Tsang to tour our facilities to better understand the work of DOVS and our close collaborations with the public services of the Hong Kong Eye Hospital. These collaborations include training and education for specialist trainees, research opportunities, and application of our research works in clinical practice, which have facilitated our public services and academic advancement throughout the decades.

Dr Tsang and his team′s visit was fruitful and promoted better communications between DOVS and the Hospital Authority.
