We are delighted to announce that our Prof Clement CY THAM, Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences (DOVS), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), has been elected as the President of the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS). This appointment demonstrates Prof Tham′s unwavering commitment to advancing glaucoma care across Asia Pacific Region.
The APGS is an organization dedicated to promoting the study and understanding of glaucoma in the Asia-Pacific region through fostering collaboration, education, and research. APGS brings together eye care professionals, researchers, and advocates to address the challenges posed by this sight-threatening condition.
Prof Tham remarks, ″It is my honour to be elected as the President of APGS. Together, we will strive to improve glaucoma care and alleviate the burden of this sight-threatening condition.″
