We are glad to host our fourth CUHKEC Lunch Gathering on 8 July, 2017 and were delighted to have Mr LO Chung Hing, Prof Jack CY CHENG, Mr Edward HC YU, Prof Margaret CHU, Mr LIM See Wai, Mr CHAN Kam Yun, Ms TSE Chuk Ping, Ms Cassia TANG and Ms June CHAN as our honoured guests. We also greatly appreciate the participation of Dr Ben NM LAM, Deputy Hospital Chief Executive of Hong Kong Eye Hospital.

Our assistant professors, Dr Danny SC NG and Dr Tommy CY CHAN, were the speakers. Dr Ng gave updated our work on ″Ophthalmic Microsurgical Simulation Training″, for trainee eye doctors a through advanced wet training laboratory and state-of-the-art virtual reality simulations. Dr Chan described ″What is Keratoconus?″ It is a progressive and potentially blinding cornea disease affecting mostly young adults. Our research has shown good treatment output on early diagnosis. We have had fruitful discussions on both topics, with very helpful feedbacks from our guests.
