Duties include (a) handling genetics work, such as DNA/RNA extraction and sequencing, single cell RNA sequencing, and genotyping; (b) assisting in cell and animal work, such as stem cell and organoid culture, experimental animal maintenance and welfare; (c) operating GC/Q-TOF-MS to analyze chemical compounds in patient samples; (d) assisting in daily laboratory operations; (e) performing database development and data analysis in eye health care and research project; and (f) performing other departmental duties as assigned.
