Dean Davy CHENG and Associate Dean Michael TAM were given a warm welcome by Prof Clement CY THAM, Prof Calvin CP PANG, our faculty members of DOVS CUHK and consultant ophthalmologists of Hong Kong Eye Hospital during their DOVS visit on 5th August 2022. They were given a brief introduction of the Department and visited the CUHK Eye Centre, Research Clinic, Ophthalmic Microsurgical Training Centre, Lee Wing Kit Advanced Ophthalmic Training and Educational Centre and our research laboratories.
We greatly appreciate Dean Davy CHENG and Michael TAM spending their valuable time visiting our department. The visit was a great opportunity to share our work in research, education, training, clinical service, and community service. The interaction was friendly, encouraging, and stimulating. We treasure the opportunity for close partnership with CUHK-Shenzhen School of Medicine to advance clinical and academic ophthalmology in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, the Greater Bay Area and regions beyond.
