The Hong Kong Ophthalmological Symposium 2015 (http://www.hkos.org.hk/?section=Top&id=13) was held successfully at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 12-13 December 2015. The symposium was kicked-off by renowned international speakers Prof Terri L YOUNG (University of Wisconsin, USA) and Prof Geoffrey ROSE (Moorfields Eye Hospital, UK). Several of our faculty members also contributed significantly to organizing the symposium by giving lectures to share their research findings. Prof Calvin CP PANG gave a keynote lecture with title ″Detection of childhood eye diseases″.
