We are much delighted to share with you that our Department Chairman, Prof Clement CY THAM, has recently received the Special Recognition Award 2021 from the World Glaucoma Association. The Special Recognition Award was presented to Prof Tham at the Opening Ceremony of the World Glaucoma Congress on 30 June 2021.
Prof Tham shares, “I believe this is a recognition of our great teamwork in the fight against glaucoma blindness, and I am very much privileged to receive this honor on behalf of the Department.”
Prof Calvin CP PANG reveals, “This is not just a wonderful accomplishment and well deserved recognition to Clement. It sets the directive for the Department to excel in glaucoma research, especially for treatment and even cure of the disease.”
