DOVS Professors Elected to the Council of The Hong Kong Ophthalmological Society

Professors of the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences (DOVS), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) have been elected to the Council of the Hong Kong Ophthalmological Society (HKOS) for the term 2025-2026. Among them, Prof Jason CS YAM, Professor, has been elected as President of the Society, alongside him as Councillors are Dr Poemen PM CHAN, Associate Professor; Dr Simon KH SZETO, Assistant Professor; Dr Aziz KW KAM, Clinical Assistant Professor (Honorary); and Dr Charlene CL YIM, Clinical Tutor (Honorary).

Established in 1954, the HKOS was founded with the mission to maintain and continually enhance the quality of eye care in Hong Kong, while fostering a spirit of collegiality among eye care professionals serving the public.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Prof Yam, Dr Chan, Dr Szeto, Dr Kam, and Dr Yim, and look forward to their continued contributions to the advancement of ophthalmology in Hong Kong.
