The CUHK Jockey Club Children Eye Care Programme (CECP) (香港中文大學賽馬會瞳心護眼計劃) was launched successfully on the 6th of January 2018 at CUHK Eye Centre. We were honoured to have a group of CUHK EMBA alumni, led by Prof CHAN Chi Fai (Director of Executive MBA Programme, and Head of Shaw College of CUHK), ophthalmologist colleagues, and our partners as our distinguished guests.

Prof Clement CY THAM launched the programme with a welcome speech to our guests, colleagues, and participants. Prof CHAN Chi Fai, Mr LI Sing Pak, BBS (CECP Programme Advisor), Dr Ben NM LAM (Deputy Hospital Chief Executive of Hong Kong Eye Hospital), Prof Alvin L YOUNG (Deputy Hospital Chief Executive of Prince of Wales Hospital), Dr Simon TC KO (Chief of Service, Hong Kong East Cluster Ophthalmology; Commission Coordinator of Paediatric Ophthalmology, Hong Kong Children Hospital) and Dr Wilson WK YIP (Consultant Ophthalmologist of Prince of Wales Hospital) have given us some encouragement.

After the Launch, we had a fruitful discussion with the alumni of EMBA of CUHK. Dr Jason CS YAM and Dr CHU Wai Kit (Assistant Professor of our Department) shared about cancer children eye care.
