We are delighted to announce that Dr Kelvin KL CHONG Associate Professor, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has been honoured with the ″Prevention of Blindness Award″ by the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) in recognition of his remarkable contributions in preventing blindness especially in orbital disorders.

The award ceremony took place on 24 Feb 2024 during the APAO Congress in Bali. Dr Chong (leftmost side of the photo) received this prestigious accolade alongside other distinguished ophthalmologists who have also made significant impacts in preventing blindness across the Asia-Pacific region.
