The Research Grant Council (RGC) has recently announced the results of the 2021-22 funding exercise of the General Research Fund (GRF). Our department has demonstrated our high quality research and has obtained three research grants.

Prof Clement CY THAM, ″New Genomic Biomarkers for Primary Open-angle glaucoma and its progression – Telomere length and Copy Number Variants″ (HK$1,179,176).

Dr Jason CS YAM, ″Low-Concentration Atropine for Myopia Progression (LAMP) Phase 5 Study: 7-year follow up to evaluate the treatment cessation strategy: Stop versus Taper″ (HK$1,170,698).

Dr CHU Wai Kit, ″Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone receptor regulates T helper 17 cell differentiation in an experimental autoimmune uveoretinitis mouse model″ (HK$1,179,117).
