Professor Neil Bressler’s lecture on Diabetic Macular Edema

Diabetic eye disease is the leading cause of irreversible vision loss in young people of working age. Our researchers have been working on the development of effective treatments for diabetic retinopathy and diabetic macular edema (DME). On 21st March 2016, we were honored to have Professor Neil Bressler visit our department to share his experience on the choice of therapy in DME patients and to give an update on the latest findings from the DRCRNet. Professor Bressler is currently the chief of Retina Division and inaugural James P. Gills Professor of Ophthalmology at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute, USA.
