Prof DONG Chen Yuan’s lecture on Optical Imaging

Cornea is a transparent tissue that covers the front part of an eye. Because of its transparent property, light can pass through and be refracted by the corneal tissue. Our researchers have been working on various types of corneal pathologies including keratitis and keratoconus. We were honored to have Prof DONG Chen Yuan visit our department on 22nd July 2016 to share his experience on using multiphoton microscopy in corneal imaging. Prof Dong is currently the head of Microscopic Biophysics and Biophotonics Laboratory at Department of Physics, National Taiwan University, Taiwan.
