Children's Eye Care Service Day
- The Children′s Eye Care Service Day is held on every Saturday and Sunday at the CUHK Eye Centre and the CUHK Medical Centre′s Eye Centre respectively
- Comprehensive eye examination service is provided free of charge for children aged between 4 and 12
- Eye examination for children: aided or unaided visual acuity (VA); auto refraction; trial lens for glasses prescription; cycloplegic autorefraction; keratometry measurement; strabismus test (cover test and Prism bar cover test); intraocular pressure (IOP); stereopsis, colour vision; slit-lamp biomicroscopy; fundus examination after pupil dilation; corneal biomechanics; anterior segment Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT); OCT for retinal nerve fibre layer, macula and choroidal thicknesses; fundus photo; ocular parameters by IOL master; anterior chamber depth (ACD), lens thickness, vitreous chamber depth, axial length; body height, body weight and blood pressure
- Eye examination for parents: autorefraction; keratometry measurement; intraocular pressure (IOP); corneal thickness and axial length (by IOL Master)
- Ophthalmic nurse explain eye examination reports in detail and provide eye care information
