We are pleased to announce the arrival of Dr Priscilla FERNANDEZ LOAIZA, Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences (DOVS), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

In welcoming Dr Fernandez Loaiza to DOVS, Prof Clement CY THAM, the Chairman of the Department, remarked, “We are delighted to have her join us and look forward to working together to advance ophthalmic care in the years to come.”

Dr Fernandez Loaiza completed a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases at CUHK and holds a Master of Public Health (Policy & Management) from the University of Hong Kong. She is also a board-certified ophthalmologist in Costa Rica, where she previously served as Head of the Ophthalmology Department at San Vicente de Paul Hospital.

Dr Fernandez Loaiza will serve as an Honorary Specialist at the Hong Kong Eye Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital, contributing to clinical services, research programmes, and community projects.
