The Joint Shantou International Eye Centre (JSIEC) is pleased to announce that Prof ZHANG Mingzhi, Vice Director (Executive), has been admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Asia-Pacific Professors in Ophthalmology (AAPPO).

The AAPPO Fellowship is among the region′s highest academic honours, recognising sustained excellence across clinical care, research innovation, public eye‑care service, and regional impact. This recognition reflects the high recognition of Prof Zhang′s enormous contributions and the collective efforts of JSIEC colleagues in patient care, education, and research.
