CUHK Minisymposium on “Innovative Ophthalmology”

We were very much honoured to invite Prof Robert Chang, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology, Stanford University School of Medicine, and Prof Bruce R. Conklin, Professor of Pharmacology and Ophthalmology, University of California San Francisco to visit our Department during 27thand 28thNovember, 2017.

Prof Chang was invited to deliver a lecture on “Embracing the AI Revolution in Medicine” to ophthalmologists and our students on the first day of visit. On the second day, the CUHK Minisymposium on “Innovative Ophthalmology” was held. We were delighted to have Prof Chang to present on “Stanford Biodesign and Digital Health Innovation” and Prof Bruce R. Conklin to deliver a lecture on “Therapeutic Editing in Retina Pigment Epithelium”. The lectures were inspiring and our students had a very good discussion with two distinguished professors. We very much look forward to seeing them in near future.
